True Gospel Radio, Inc. was established in November 2007. We are a Indianapolis based non-profit commercial free radio station and are committed to providing the best urban gospel music....today, classic, independent, gospel rap and the best variety of gospel programs. True Gospel Radio started on the internet and went on the am dial in March 2010. We provide a voice for the voiceless in our community who are otherwise unrepresented. 

We offer great promotional services for churches that would like to be part of our radio ministry. These services include:

1. 15 or 30 minutes broadcasting

2. Free church announcements

3. Air time for local church choirs, gospel artist or gospel groups.

True Gospel Radio transmits on a frequency of 1700 kHz and operates legally under FCC part 15 rules and regulations. We are not a pirate radio station and operates legally under the frequency on which we broadcast. All programs on True Gospel Radio are publicly posted on the air and on our website. True Gospel Radio may use " KTGR as a  on air moniker and not as a FCC assigned call letter. TGR is an abbreviation for True Gospel Radio.

There are no investors and no investments are solicited in any way. True Gospel Radio uses various amounts of equipment to create a professional broadcast on the air and on line. True Gospel Radio uses a unaltered Pro caster AMTX100 Transmitter that is FCC certified.
